Did You Know....
That your smile can say as much about you as your clothing and body language?

Front tooth fillings

This is a mercury – free practice.

Amalgam has been a great servant to dental health over the last century, being inexpensive and easy for the dentist to place. It is however, very ugly, and for this reason alone is not used in this practice.

We prefer to use composite fillings for all teeth. When placed with meticulous care, they can last as long as amalgam but look far better.

Composite fillings are a good substitute for gold inlays, requiring less tooth preparation and therefore less destruction of tooth substance than gold.

Ceramic fillings are an (expensive) alternative to composite.

Very rarely, glass ionomer cement might be used, in the care of the very elderly or the very young.
